SUIDAKRA - PART WAYS WITH BAND MEMBER | 29/08/05
SUIDAKRA have posted this message on their official website:

"I can confirm that Matthias will not be participating on the next SuidAkrA album. After the Summerbreeze festival, it was decided by the band as a whole that it would be best for everyone if Matthias stepped down from his position in the band. Matthias will therefore play his last SuidAkrA show at the Bloodstock festival next weekend. After this decision was made, the band contacted their former guitarist/singer, and much to their surprise (and the surprise of many fans, no doubt!), Marcel is willing and able to rejoin SuidAkrA as a full-time member! You'll be able to catch Marcel on stage with the others at the remaining SuidAkrA shows after Bloodstock. SuidAkrA will then take a break from touring until mid-2006, in order to concentrate 100% on the songwriting for the next album."

"Meanwhile, SuidAkrA are looking forward to their first show in the UK (and they "hope the beer won't be too warm" -- don't let them down, Derby!)."

   TYPE O NEGATIVE - NEW ALBUM DETAILS | 24/08/05
TYPE O NEGATIVE have recently stated they will be aiming to release their next album in the early half of 2006. The yet to be titled album will be the band's first for SPV Records, since leaving Roadrunner after completing 2004's "Life is Killing Me".

Drummer Johnny Kelly has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"Here's what's going on. Peter [Steele] and Josh [Silver] are currently completing their tracks for the 'Roadrunner All Stars' CD. Hopefully they will be done this week. After that, we go back into rehearsals to work on new songs for the next CD. We're shooting to have the new cd released in early 2006. There will be no tours or shows of any kind until the CD is completed and close to the release date. Other than that, I went to the movies the other night. I've been waiting for my car to get out of the shop for over a month. I washed my truck the other day. I still need to take a shower today. My 26" kick drum finally arrived for my Pearl Masterworks green sparkle kit last week but the color was wrong so I had to send it back and they're making me a new one. My LED ZEPPELIN cover band is playing in Brooklyn this weekend. Peter being dead was a hoax and there is no Easter Bunny. Blah Blah Blah, you get the picture..."
