   THEATRE OF TRAGEDY - SIGN NEW RECORD DEAL | 13/09/05
Having been quiet on the Gothic Metal scene for quite some time now, Norweigan act THEATRE OF TRAGEDY have recently inked a new record deal with German label AFM Records.

The band, once fronted by Liv Kristine, have been writing new material for the past 2 years - with new vocalist Nell (THE CREST). The music is expected to move away from the later "techno" efforts and instead be a continuation of "Aegis" style material.


   THE PROJECT HATE - ENLIST EVERGREY BASSIST | 13/09/05
THE PROJECT HATE - the Swedish extreme act featuring Jörgen Sandström of ENTOMBED fame on lead vocals, have announced the addition of EVERGREY bassist Michael Håkansson as a full-time member of the group.

Stating on the band's website: "We have actually hinted at it for quite some time with him and he always answered, 'I'd be honoured,'" the band write on their web site. "It was very easy to come up with this seing how much he enjoyed playing our shit and it's not exactly going to take any time away from EVERGREY, you know, since we won't be playing live or tour or anything like that. We are very happy to have him in the band considering the work he did on the coming album, and we welcome him to the HATE."

   RAMMSTEIN - ROSENROT SETS IN... | 12/09/05
German metal act RAMMSTEIN have announced the official release date of their forthcoming album "Rosenrot" as October 31st. The single "Benzin" is expected to precede the album on October 10th.

   DARK FUNERAL - NEW SONG SAMPLES | 09/09/05
Swedish black metal act DARK FUNERAL have made available two tracks from their upcoming album "Attera Totus Sanctus" at their official web site. Check out the songs "Godhate" and "666 Voices Inside" (Both in WMA).

   RAMMSTEIN - NEW SINGLE POSTED ONLINE | 07/09/05
An audio clip of the forthcoming RAMMSTEIN single "Benzin" has been posted online at Motor.de. You can download it here.

The single comes from the band's upcoming album "Rosenrot" which is due for release in the coming months.
